Dr. Seuss Storytime
Target had a Dr. Seuss story time on Saturday. Katelyn LOVES The Cat in the Hat. She got to sit on a beanbag to hear a story and got a free gift bag. Katelyn had a blast.

She loves wearing her dance outfit everyday!! She will either be a dancer or a mechanic!!
I heard snoring and looked over to see Katelyn sound asleep at 5:30. She must of had a long day.
I got this turtle from one of my students for Valentine's Day and showed Katelyn. That night in bed she said "HER" turtle is so cute. That was the last time I got to hold it.
Do you see the green stuff in her hair? That would be play dough!! At least it was not gum.
Too cute is all I can say!!

Potty Advice
Over my Winter Break we were able to get Katelyn potty trained. Yea!! She does fine with naps in underwear. My questions to all the mothers out there is for NIGHT TIME..... Did you keep your child in diapers for awhile at night, did you go straight to pull ups?, how often did you wake them to go potty in the night?, What worked for you?
Maybe it will be easier then I think, but I don't want to wake up every night changing wet sheets. Most mornings her diaper is dry and she asks to go potty first thing.

Too Big!!
Over Winter Break I had several things I wanted to accomplish. The first one was to get Katelyn potty trained. She had a few accidents but by the time I went back to work she was in underwear all day. I decided not to show her running around in her underwear.
The next thing we needed to do was cut the binki. Katelyn only uses it when she sleeps, but we felt it was time to say good bye. Every other night I would cut it a little bit and told her by end of the week she would only be holding it. We say that the binki is "broken". There were several nights of crying, but we survived.
The next thing we needed to do was get her in a toddler bed. We (okay Scott) put together the bed on Friday. She was so excited!!
This was Katelyn when I checked on her in the morning. She slept soundly through the night. Last night she was crying and I went to check on her. The poor thing had fallen out of the bed. The rail is nice, but she likes to move around a lot. She ended up on the other side of the bed. I put a pillow down in case she fell out again, but she stayed in bed the rest of the night.
