Cheryse's 32nd Birthday

For my birthday I took advantage of the free Joe's Bar-b-que meal. I love Joe's, but it tastes even better when it is free!!!
Afterwards we went down the street to let Katelyn play in the water. You can't tell, but she is soaking wet!!


Then we went home for cake and ice cream!!

Lily thought the cake looked very yummy and put her hand in it. Don't worry I was a mean mom and washed it off. She never tasted it.

Moving into a House!! Sept. 5th

Scott and I made the decision earlier in the year to short sale our condo. We had been waiting around for years for the housing market to go up, but it was just getting worse. At the end of April we started the process of a short sale. We had our ups and downs and were finally approved in September. We started house hunting different rentals. In one week it all came together. We found a rental on Saturday, were approved on Tuesday to rent, and got a call on Wednesday that the short sale went through. We signed paperwork on Thursday. On my birthday (September 16th) we got the call that we were officially free of the condo!! We loved the ward and area, but needed more space. My mom was in town for Lily's surgery and spent days packing up the house. Mom I couldn't have done it without you!!

Katelyn was a great packer. All week we packed the car and made trips to the house. She was so confused why we were moving her toys. She finally understood that the house would be her new home.
