Blake Family 2012
Last year at this time Lily had just had her third surgery,
Scott graduated from ASU, and we sold our condo and we were settling into a new
home. So many blessing have happened to our family. Today we are busy as ever.
Scott: In
January Scott got a job at Performance Software as a software engineer. He
stays busy keeping up to date with all the new technology. Lily loves calling
DADDY when he gets home and running up to give him a big hug. At church he is
in Primary with the 5 year olds. In October we were able to visit his sister
Amy and her family in Thailand for a week. It was a great trip!
Cheryse: Ended her 9th year teaching 5th
grade and put in her resignation to be a stay at home mom. It was strange for
her to see all the teachers start the new school year and to not have to worry
about a classroom. It has been part of her identity for so many years. She has wanted to be a stay at home mom and is blessed to be home all day with the
girls. Cheryse also watches a teacher’s daughter during the week. The little
one is Lily’s age and they have fun playing together. At church Cheryse is busy
working with 10 and 11 year old girls in activity days. She has fun planning
different activities each month.
Katelyn:
Is an active four year old. Once a week she gets to take dance and LOVES it!
She is a great help around the house. She is always full of questions and can’t
wait to start Kindergarten next year.
Katelyn loves playing outside and would go to the park everyday if she
could. She loves looking at pictures on the computer, playing with legos, and stuffed
animals.
Lily: Is
19 months and keeps us on our toes. If something is on the table that she wants,
she will climb onto a chair and get on the table to reach it. Lily is surgery
free for awhile. We are blessed to have such great surgeons that could fix her
problems and she can lead a happy, healthy life. Lily loves to play outside and
go down the slide. She loves baby dolls, carrying around baskets full of
treasures, and food. She may be small for her age but she is always willing to
eat when she sees someone with food.
