Meet the Teacher Night July 31st

Tonight was meet the teacher. I was as nervous as the girls, because they are at a new school. We have to figure out the new schools way of doing things! I am sure after a few days they will get the routine down!

Happy 9th Birthday Katelyn!!

The day before her birthday she invited a few friends to watch a movie. On her birthday she opened a few presents. That night Katelyn's birthday dinner request was a pot pie and she wanted a Klondike bar for her birthday treat. Easy for me to prepare!

 Katelyn tried the rootbeer float for her free cupcake at Sweet Tooth Fairy.

SeaQuest Aquarium- Las Vegas, Nevada

This was the best aquarium I have been too. There were so many animals the children could touch and feed. Katelyn liked the birds, Lily liked feeding the stingrays and sharks, and Hayley liked the starfish and the snake (behind the glass).

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Otto

We took a quick road trip to visit grandma and grandpa Otto for a few days.

The girls have always wanted to try the slides at the nearby school. Lily wasn't allowed to go down with her floaties. Maybe she will be ready next summer.

 Grandpa was teaching Katelyn to play chess.
