Go D-backs!!

Last year my class won the school Pasta For Pennies contest. The money goes to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We worked extra hard to earn money because one the my students is a cancer survivor. Not expecting anything other then a great job and knowing we made a little difference the school year ended. Then at the beginning of the year the D-dacks contacted us and my class got free tickets to the September 11th game. About 14 of them and their parents came to the game. It was fun to see them and see how their new year has been going. Katelyn had a blast!! She loved the cheering, my old students, and the stadium.

Feeding the ducks

Scott and I took Katelyn to feed the ducks on Monday. She thought we were there to "watch" the ducks and eat the bread herself. The ducks did get some!! She will get a hang of it.

What Are You Doing Katelyn?

Katelyn has found two new ways to stay busy. Unrolling the toilet paper off the roller and pulling wipes out of the box. I went into her room thinking she was playing in a basket and there was half the container of wipes on the floor. Oh Joy!!

Happy 90th Birthday Grandma Tenney

My Grandma turned 90 last month. The family all got together for the holiday weekend to celebrate. Scott and I put together a slide show for the family. It turned out really good. Seeing all the pictures brought tears to my eyes. Then my mom collected letters from all of grandma's kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She made a scrapbook for her. It was a great party to remember all that grandma has done for us.
