July Fun

We went to Red Robin with Grandma and Grandpa Strong to celebrate Katelyn and Scott's birthday.
Katelyn loves swimming over at her cousins house. Libby always swims with Katelyn and makes sure she is safe.

We took Steven's family to the train park before they headed to Georgia. Wes loved the train and wanted to go again. You know it is hot when there are only two families riding the train. When it is cooler the train ride is always full.Lily can hold up her head now. She still has a bobble head, but her neck is getting stronger.

Katelyn was suppose to be taking a nap, but I found her reading to her friends. I took a quick picture, smiled at her creativity, and then said "Back to bed!"Love watching her sleep. She always manages to wiggle her hands free.

Chocolate Pizza July 26th

We found a magazine with 101 things to do in Arizona. One of the places was to take a tour at Cerreta's Candy Factory. We thought this would be a fun birthday activity for Katelyn.

Katelyn is making a chocolate pizza. The bottom was dark chocolate. Then she got to squeeze white chocolate on it for the "cheese" and then add candy on top for the toppings.

Happy Birthday Katelyn!!

Katelyn turned 3 today. I made her chocolate chip pancakes. Then we went to her 3 year doctors visit. He said Katelyn knows as much as a 4 year old. He was very impressed with her. (That made her mom and dad very proud.)

Birthday Sleepover with Cousins July 21st

Katelyn's birthday is on the 26th, so we decided to have a cousin sleepover. I let Katelyn pick out her cupcakes and she loves CARS. We had pizza, cupcakes, opened gifts and watched a movie. I can't believe she will be 3 next week.

Nelson Family Reunion July 8-10th

This weekend we had our Nelson Family Reunion near Show Low, AZ. The weather was nice and overcast most of the time.

Grandma has 12 brothers and sisters. Two couldn't make it and three have passed away. We still had a nice turn out.

Happy 4th of July

For lunch we went over to my sisters house to spend time with my side of the family. Then for dinner and swimming we headed over to Scott's sister's house. It was a fun day to celebrate our independence.
