Diapers

Okay, for all the parents out there. Which brand of diapers do you recommend and why? I thought I would get the experts options.

Great News!!

Many of you know I have struggled to get pregnant. After 16 months of frustrations, many doctor appointments, and several times crying to friends. I can final say we are having a baby!! I am 14 weeks along today. It took so long to get pregnant I wanted to wait a while to let everyone know. For the first little while it seemed like a dream. I have had morning sickness at night. Which has been great for teaching. Scott is wonderful and patient on days that I feel awful.

What do you think we are having?? We will know in a few weeks.

Jenny's Wedding

Jenny and I meet when I lived in Queen Creek. Her reception was yesterday, Jan. 19th. She looked so beautiful and happy. Best wishes to the new couple.

Hard at Work

I feel like our condo is always under construction. This will be our last project for awhile. Scott and I decided to replace the old carpet with laminate flooring. We pulled all the baseboards off yesterday. Okay, let me rephrase that Scott pulled all the baseboards off yesterday. My sister Kristen sanded them all down. Then I painted them!! We worked well together and got done right before it rained. The Floorstore will put in the new floors. We just felt the baseboards needed a fresh coat of paint. I can't wait to have the floors finished and our furniture back in place.

New Year's with Mom and Dad

My parents drove down on Saturday from Vegas. We had our family Christmas on Sunday. Then went over to my sisters house for New Year's Eve. Aida fit in great with the family and made a seven layer dip with my mom. We stayed up all night playing games. Aunt Kristina and Stephanie came over for a little while. Then my Uncle Jimmy came over to beat me in a game of Rummikub. At midnight we ate our traditional waffles with strawberries and whip cream. I love when my parents visit. Thanks mom for keeping us well feed while you were here!!

Christmas

Scott and I slept in Christmas morning. Then opened our gifts from Santa. Then we headed to Grandma Strong's for lunch and to open a few presents. On Christmas Eve mom Wilder and Tom surprised everyone and flew in from Georgia. They were able to stay about a week. The day after Christmas Scott's brother Steven and his wife Aida drove down from Utah. We had a fun week with family.

Family Christmas Party

On Sunday the 16th we went to Grandma and Grandpa Strong's house for the yearly Christmas party. Most of the family that lives in town were able to come. We ate dinner, had a family talent show, the kids hit the pinata, and Santa stopped by for a visit.

We had a surprise visit from Ryan and Becky Blake. We were happy to see them, but they were here for Becky's fathers funeral. He passed away unexpectedly last week. Our prayers are with Becky and her family.
