Bowling

I found a great deal on groupon to go bowling. We invited Kristen and Eric to come with us. Katelyn LOVES bowling, so very very excited when I told her what we were doing.

November Fun

 I love that Lily is holding a toy in her mouth, hanging onto a rabbits ear, and playing on her toy turtle at the same time.

Halloween Night Trick or Treating

 We went to Aunt Karen and Uncle Collin's house for their Halloween party for a little while. We also went trick or treating down their street. Then we headed over to my sister's house. Kristen and Eric took the kids trick or treating in their neighborhood.

Ward Trunk or Treat (Oct. 27th)

We had a nice time at our church Halloween party. Lily loved being a chicken. I was worried she might not want to keep the top part on over her head, but she loved walking around in the costume. Katelyn was Tinkerbell again this year. She loved the costume and it still fit, so why not have her be Tinkerbell again!!

Lily has learned that if she holds out her bag she will get candy. I know she will love going door to door on Halloween night!

Pumpkin Carving

Scott picked the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch. Last year Katelyn did zero work to help carve the pumpkin. She didn't like the feel of the inside. This year I strongly encouraged her to help get the stuff out. She didn't mind using a spoon, but when she used her hands she didn't like it. At least she helped more this year. Scott did a fantastic job carving!!
Katelyn is in curlers for the Halloween party that night. You might notice she doesn't have curly hair in the Halloween pictures. I took out the curlers and her hair looked awful. I ended up wetting her hair and pulling it back. I think her hair was too short to curl.

DeWitt Stables Pumpkin Patch (Oct. 27th)

We decided to try a different pumpkin patch this year. We were able to go on a hayride to a little pumpkin patch, we stopped to pet some animals at the petting zoo, and the girls rode a little barrel train. It was hotter then we thought it would be, but the shaded areas made it a little cooler. Grandma and grandpa Strong came with us for our afternoon of fun!
