Dirt Graveyard

At school the teachers had a dessert Halloween contest. We could win for Most Creative, Tastiest, or Scariest. I thought mine could win the Most Creative Award. There were some really good desserts and I didn't end up winning. I still think mine was very creative and I am proud of it. I just needed to show it off!!

Busy, Busy Bumble Bee

We found the cutest bee costume for Katelyn to wear. Her round face and tummy made the costume even cuter. I took Katelyn to Kristen's Trunk or Treat party on Thursday. Then Friday Scott brought her up to my school for my students to see. Halloween night we stopped by a few houses to show her off. Then we went to Scott's family get together at the Udall's house. Before we went home we stopped by my Aunt Kristina's house. Kateyln did really well through all of this. The costume is so cozy I think she just loved being a bee.

MY TWO FAVORITE THINGS

Katelyn tried out her bumbo and loves it. She enjoys being able to sit up and look around. She can't sit in there too long, because she still has a little bit of a bobble head. Maybe in a few weeks her neck will be stronger. She looks a little scared in the picture, but really does like it!!

Katelyn spends her day trying to shove her whole fist into her mouth. She has come close several times. Her favorite hand is the left one!

Now that I am back to teaching Grandma and Grandpa Strong watch Katelyn on Monday and Wednesday. When I went to pick Katelyn up last week I found her like this. I ran outside to get my camera. Kateyln loves Grandma and Grandpa Strong. She is always all smiles!!

Kristen, Katelyn and I headed to Vegas for our Fall Break. We decided a little road trip would be fun and my parents were eager to spend time with Katelyn. The trip took a little longer with a baby, but we finally made it there. I was able to sleep in everyday and catch up on some sleep. We played games on Sunday. One night we went to Joe's Crab Shack. I stuck with my burger, but they all dug in to their bucket of crabs and shrimps. The first two days were very windy, but after that the weather was perfect. The trip was a perfect time to relax and not think about school.

General Conference Oct. 5th

It is a tradition to eat lunch over at Grandma Strong's house and then we all gather to watch the last session of conference. We had a good crowd of family there this year. Afterwards Scott and I went over to the temple to walk around. The weather was perfect.
