Katelyn's Farm Field Trip Feb 27th

Katelyn's preschool went to the farm on a field trip. I was watching too many kids that day, so I could go with her. She had a lot of fun. They had 15 different flavors of milk. Katelyn picked the orange flavor to try.

 We decided to put Katelyn in a preschool for one day a week. We thought she would enjoy being with kids her age for a few hours. She loves Mrs. Chelsea at Busy Bee Preschool!!

 Katelyn wanted to make puppets! I said okay! There is Katelyn the tooth faily, Lily the turtle and mommy the butterfly. She is ready for her puppet show.

 Katelyn had fun at Kate's 5th birthday party. They decorated cupcakes and jumped in a bouncer outside.

 Katelyn is back in dance. This semester she is trying hip hop and Jazz. I feel like this class focuses a lot on technique which will be great for Katelyn.

Zoo Day (Dec. 31st)

I REALLY wanted to go to the zoo with the girls, but didn't want to pay full price. I waited at the library last Friday for almost an hour (with two wiggly girls) until they put out cultural passes. I was first in line and got the two free zoo tickets!!

We decided to go New Year's Eve because Scott had the day off. When we got there at 11:30 the place was crowded with cars. Apparently there was a New Year's Eve event going on until 12:00. Katelyn was able to go play in snow of a few minutes. I would have let her enjoy it a little more if I had known, but I didn't have dry clothes if she got too wet. She was happy to just play for a few minutes.

Christmas 2012

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas at home this year. Lily actually knew what was going on and was excited to open presents. Kristen and Eric stayed the night, so we could open gifts right away. Katelyn was excited to have a sleepover in her room. The girls slept until 8:00.

 Lily loves her wagon!! It is for outside, but she loves pulling it around inside. We will let her play with it inside for awhile, but once it goes outside it will be too dirty to bring back inside.
